Hermanus Whale Watching
From July every year, hundreds of Southern Right Whales arrive in our small bays to calve and suckle their young. Take a trip on a whale viewing boat and come within metres of these 40-ton mammals. Walker Bay cliff paths also offer a great view of the whales along the coastline.
Flora and Fauna Mountain Trails
Nowhere is there a greater or more diverse plant life than on the slopes of the Overberg Mountains where more than 600 species of the unique "fynbos" flourish.
